Does God expect us to lay down and let evil tromp all over us and to advance unopposed ? Are not Christian soldiers to be at odds with that which is ungodly ? Have we become so " heavenly minded " that we're of no earthly good ? Do you think perhaps an enemy has taken passages out of our own guidance manual , out of context , and attempted to use them against us ? " Turn the other cheek .... forgive your enemy ... God is love ." These scriptures are there but isn't it wise to be well informed as to what is really being said ? Aren't these words in there also - Ecclesiastes 3 : 1 , 8 / Isaiah 59 / Jeremiah 48 : 10 / 51 : 13 - 24 ( whole chapter really ) / Matthew 10 : 34 / Luke 12 : 49 - 51 / Romans 13 : 1 - 4 .
Take the time to look these scriptures up . How much effort do we daily expend in so much more frivilous matters ? You have to seek to find . God has given us the answers . How much importance will you attach to understanding His will ?
