Reckon we all feel the need now and again to just pull off the road, find a quiet spot ... perhaps a bit of shade and just let the fast paced world and all its trouble go on by. Let the machine cool off a bit and just contemplate matters.
This song reminds me alot of my Dad, and the similarity in appearance is uncanny. This was the music of his era, a slower pace and given to thought. Don't intend on being judgemental on the lyrics or anything so deep - just taking a rest from a tiring journey. Yer welcome to join me ....

I hardly ever listened to that kind of music and I never heard of the guy but I really enjoyed that. Very relaxing. Great voice. Its 11 pm here. Nice way to wind down the day
Yeah, I hardly ever drag out the oldies anymore, but it does calm the waters at times. Glad you enjoyed it man.
