For all the wrong reasons

There has certainly been alot happening the last 3 months or so ... troubles have multiplied faster than the average person can keep track of and on a global scale at that. The rosy pictures of "all is well / things will get better" trumpeted by the MSM and all those who long to return to the life of "comfort" they once knew (and at what cost be damned) is rapidly being shredded by reality - it has all been a farce and a state of denial. We thought we could mock God and get away with it.


Even now we have an abundance of naysayers ready to heckle and ridicule those who have been warning of His wrath to come. They feel themselves in their prime and revel in their ability to speak in such blasphemous terms. Many are those who feel themselves untouchable, be it by their position in life or supposed economic surety. Explanations are put forth to try and account for all that is happening .. as if all matters are grasped and understood. Pride and arrogance will be a decisive and heavy chain around their neck.


Many of us have long looked to alternative news sources for the truer picture of what is going on in world events - myself included. And there has been much revealed there, but it has not included what has been most needed as far as solutions go. This commonality has really caused me to deeply ponder just whose side they're really on. Is it honestly just a matter of not being informed and being deceived themselves - or is it all by clever design ? As I've brought up several times before - are we once again guilty of underestimating our enemies (those who truly hate us) and their reach ? Think about it.


We are taught to expend all our energies and direct our collective attention towards those who would destroy our "sacred" constitution, those who run the federal reserve, those who have corrupted our political offices and run amok world wide, those who violate our borders, evils ad nauseum. Many "saviours" are put forth - Ron Paul, state secession, gold, re-election of any of a number of politicians, war in the streets. But not one of these identify the core problem, how to address it and our only solution. The federal reserve is NOT the problem. Neither is the alien or the jew. It's not the greed of the elites or those of our own who have sold out. These are all merely symptoms of a deeper rot. Our greatest hindrance is ourselves.


The ones who should be frontline are the most derelict in their duty. The churches have sold out to another master and no longer warn of evil (sin). The most they hope for (and promise) is a ticket out of the mess they've allowed to prosper, in fact have been instrumental in promoting. They are universalist in the truest sense of the word as almost nothing is sacred or set in stone anymore - nearly everything is allowable (if not today, we'll revise it tomorrow). Preaching a fuzzy, warm Jesus who really has no absolutes and anything goes. What people ? What law ? What kingdom ?


We are not a sorrowful and repentant people because we realize that God indeed made an everlasting (and binding) covenant with us and we are in fact reaping the curses for our sins against Him. We have not dropped to our knees and humbled our haughty spirits before Him in prayer, seeking the path back in tears and remorse. Nor have we searched His Word and asked for guidance in understanding His will.


Our prayers (which mean supplications, petitions) have gone out to our "representatives" in congress and to any number of organizations for our "salvation". Our "repentance" is due to our missing the "good life" they guaranteed us. We were content as long as we had all these things and there was really no concern for anything beyond that. Church was something you did on Sunday (if at all) and usually then it was only for social reasons (and business contacts). Our existance revolved solely around what we could compile in life and how high we could climb up the ladder of acceptance / achievement. We elected the government of man that would give us this life and demanded the kind of preacher who'd only pat us softly on the head and cluck in our ears - Jesus loves you just like you are .. carry on. No need for all that "indepth" stuff - that's his job.


None will be exempt from His anger to come and that most definitely includes you America. We were once lifted higher than any nation on earth and in our unparalled, debaucherous turning from Him we've put Sodom and Gomorrah to shame - great will be our fall. For those who will hear .. turn to Him now in repentance, without reservation or hesitation. Don't be concerned with what others may say - we each will stand alone before Him.


For my brothers and sisters in Christ's remnant wherever you may be .. let us not be faint during these trying times but remember that His grace is sufficient and He will not leave us. These trials will strengthen us and test our faith so as to refine us according to His will. Let us each strive to cast off what is dross, take note of the lateness of hour and be in prayer for one another always. This abomination of man must fall and His kingdom will prevail. His promises are assured and His coming at hand. May we all be found faithful and joyous at heart at His return. Amen.
