Yet you've not returned unto Me

Americans in general must be the most intensely dumbed down people in the world. Most have no concerns or even awareness of what is happening around the nation, let alone the globe - neither do they care. It has always been about "ME" and whatever I've got to do to further that end goal. We like to think of ourselves as caring people / nation and pat each other on the back when we drop a twenty in the plate or send a few dollars in to the charity of the week. But either by omission or commission we have cancelled out any good we've accomplished in droves.

We have existed in a bubble of deception all of our lives and really thought that it would last forever without repercussions. Honestly, this is the way we prefer it. If ever we had a solid foundation in this country we have allowed it over time to crumble but reality will always find its way back to front and center - whether you like it or not. There is not a one who can say that they didn't have ample opportunity to see it coming and that the indicators were not all around us. Sticking our heads in the sand and utilizing blinders will only work for a while and if you choose not to see the obvious, then you can be expected to eventually be rudely slapped into consciousness. In trying to speak to folks and reading across the spectrum online the furor being raised because of the calamities increasingly befalling us, I'm reminded of the scripture in Revelation 16, with emphasis on the phrase ".. and they repented not" vss. 7,9,11 and 21. Vss. 7-9 reads -

"And I heard another out of the alter say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments. And the fourth angel poured out his vial unto the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, WHICH HATH POWER OVER THESE PLAGUES: and they repented not to give Him glory."

If you look up that word "plagues" in Strongs concordance, you'll find what else it can mean. We often think of this word solely as some leprosy or such medical condition ... but it can have further reach. The definition can also include - "a calamity, plague , stripe. Through the idea of flattening out - TO POUND, i.e. to inflict with calamity, to smite." Doesn't this remind you of scripture in Isaiah 1 - how much more will it take to get our attention and turn us back to Him ? Amos 4:6-13 / Deuteronomy 28:15-68 are also applicable as we are still His people and answerable to Him for our waywardness.

All these things have befallen us - will we continue on our course away from Him and let it proceed to the next level ? As most see no correlation between the Word and what is happening ... I sadly suspect we will. I posted the following comments on another board, trying as we all do to awaken people. It does get frustrating having to start off with what should be elementary to folks but we have to remember, if God gave us eyes to see ... it was for a reason and we all have a duty to stand on the wall and trump the warning the best we're able. What steps are then taken by the individual is between them and God.

Still think foreign troops in this land are most definitely out of the question ? We are being absorbed into the "Borg". National sovereignties are being overridden and the collective reduced to a common denominator. Who would potentially have more compassion and sympathize with a displaced, disgrunted and outraged homeland populace (and therefore possibly be a problem) - troops and LEO who have a stake here, or others from abroad who were just doing their job (and with many potential "fringe" benefits at that) ? Just a thought.

All these pieces to the puzzle that add up to treachery on the part of our "governing body" for those who will give it true consideration, is why so many of us refuse to believe anything they have to say (particularly for the "old timers" who have paid attention over the years). So at least since the inception of this particular document then ('61 - did anyone else labor thru the YT vids but me ?), what kind of dual role play have our fearless leaders been participating in ? Has everything else not been a charade if they knew this was the end goal ? Did they just plan on riding it out for all it's worth til it broke (everybody act surprised now !) - getting all they could extract from the benefits accrued a "loyal" servant (but to whom - talk about cold, self centered bastards) ? How many of them have seats hidden deep "in the mountain" during the times to come ?

Sure, they've spread trinklets out and kissed babies and all ... but what greased path downhill have they led us on ? There is a flip side that I may address but most will have trouble digesting even this. We aint hardly scratched the surface yet man.

The flip side I'm really referring to is Biblical in nature (yeah Fred, there are so many layers in this corrupt system that the majority grow weary of even trying to peel them) .. so if any got gripes about the subject - now would be the time to give that mouse a single click and yer outa here. No problems. I don't dog the threads with "evangelizing" and what I say is done in moderation. But I do so without apology or regret.

I know there are others here who think along these lines because I've spoken with them. For those who proclaim themselves to be Christian already (and even those remaining silently on the periphery .. that'll work for now) - think about it. The emergence of what we are witnessing is none other than the Biblically proclaimed "Mystery Babylon" - note the word mystery as many have not seen it for what it really is until now (another indication of the times). Bible students already know how this is gonna play out.

I've often marveled at the lengths folks would go to try and discredit, ridicule and poke holes in the Bible. If they would only expend half that energy and study with sincerity, they would certainly come away with another point of view. We are moving along as with a blueprint. If it is of God it will proceed, if it be of man (without God's guidance) failure is the only thing that can come of it. Watch 'er play out if you doubt.

My thought was to quote even more scriptures than I have for validation, but people want the Readers Digest condensed version (if that) so that they can give snap judgments and see if it tickles their fancy or not. They are not really interested and therefore will never see the relevancy of the Word. Rest assured God has not forgotten this continent and we'll not skate by scot free. For those who ask why God lets things happen, the choice has always been ours - 1 Samuel 8:6-22

Any justifiable "separation of church and state" was intended that government SHALL NOT infringe on Gods will and thus seek to enact their own laws which run contrary to His (thus defines a false god). The church (if they were true representatives of Gods will and not subservient to another master as evidenced by their 501 C 3 status, for one) was to be the proponents of Gods will and kingdom on earth (Matthew 6:9-10) - hence, His government. We have no idea of what true freedom really entails and will continue to try 'n right these perils via man alone. Do you honestly think Gods way could be ANY worse ?! HOW many laws are there on their books ?!

In corrupted times past and at present, the church for the most part is a tentacle of the system and serves its purpose and agenda. Was it not Lenin who rightly said that "religion" (as opposed to true Christianity) was an opiate of the masses ? It has performed magnificently in this respect and destroyed any hope of the church (in its present condition) serving any useful function in our world. Think conspiracies are something new ? Think these separate arms have not worked in unison before ? We greatly underestimate them. Ezekiel 22:23-31

What has been will always be (again). There is nothing new under the sun but we just haven't recognized this yet. Our forefathers had it right and for a while they held it together and this country prospered beyond belief. My concerned advice and offered help is to encourage others to get aboard the ONLY side that is gonna prevail in what's coming down - right here on earth where it's all gonna unfold.
