Can you not see the correlation to todays situation ? " Turning the world upside down ... " . This word " world " can often mean - world order , the arrangement of power and control . Did not Jesus say to render unto Caesar if you belonged to him , and unto God for those who bowed to His rule ? Why would the moneychangers , the scribes and pharisee's be so worked up and concerned with a flip flop in society - why would they so actively oppose a kingdom under Christ .... unless that reversal put them on the bottom . To take away their positions of control , to cut out the dross and expose matters for what they truly are .
