I received a mail from a friend in South Africa today ... included was a treat . A step back in time and a listen to the good ol music I love and was raised up listening to . I can still hear the songs echoing from years past . The folks back then knew good tunes , it indeed seemed a better world . Thanks for bringing back the memories ( would gladly mention your name if you don't mind , I just know some folks don't like open line attention ) .

Jim Reeves .... country music singer / song writer
( crooner ) . He was born and raised in Galloway , Texas
( Aug . 1923 ) . He had his spot in music during the late 40's thru the 60's and played with the likes of Patsy Cline and Hank Williams . He died in a plane crash in July of '64 - he was 40 years old . I'll tell ya what .... that ol boy could melt their butter !

I received your reply to my email but wont print in case you prefer I don't - you seemed to be leaning that way .
Guess we'll leave matters as they are concerning scriptures already quoted , and take what has already been said as your answer .
Take care.
My Dad had a ton of his records, I remember listening to them as a boy. He really was one of a kind.
I like alot of the old music - it doesn't have to always be hard ass and shouting . A simpler time .
I'll not submit another reply to Demetrius on yer blog , as his intentions are obvious and anything said goes over his head . Open only to what he wants to hear ... but that's typical .
I have most of Jim's music on my computer, and I listen to it every day together with greats such as Slim Whitman and Mario Lanza. I grew up on their music, and still think it is the best. Jim was sorely missed when he passed on.
Thanks for the memories. Will send you a mail tomorrow. Take care
