Another false god

Not that the supply of abundant enemies has declined much over the years around here but it seems I've managed to add a few more here of late . This Constitutional document is the sacred cow of many and any words spoken contrary to it will draw much venom your way as it is blasphemous to do so to many ears . And , I was probably among that crowd 15 years or so ago .

But not for long .

I find it especially hard to believe that some Christians would embrace it in a holier than Christ relationship , as the two are not compatible . As I've asked before , wherein is mention of Jesus Christ if they were such devoted Christian statesmen ?

I know of their writings wherein they extoll God and speak favorable words of Jesus , good for them , but here was their chance . This was a document that would be scrutinized and examined by many peoples and nations for years to come . The document to establish this nation under our God we knew was blessing us with the promised land of 2 Samuel 7 : 10 - 11 . Now was the supreme moment to establish Gods Word and Law into the record - to make it the sole foundation Rock that could not be undermined and washed out .

Cite chapter / verse to validate the righteousness that would of a certainty acrue to all the people abiding therein . Give God alone the glory .

But no mention . And there is no excuse for it . They flat out fell short of the mark ... whether knowingly or not , you decide .

If we really understood our role in all this as acting the unrepentant children ( the analogy fits ) , we would see the fallacy of turning back to a deficient man made article rather than our God . A proxy will not satisfy Him .

Were the ancient Israelites all that stupid , falling on the ground to idols of animals ?

Or were they symbols of their own political saviours , much like our donkey and elephant ? Archeologists 300 years from now may dig 'em up , perhaps they'll think we bowed to donkeys . Wouldn't be that far of a stretch .

So ... my question is , just what does that cat in the pic think he's gonna accomplish by approaching that eagle ? Has he got negotiations in mind ? Perhaps he's gonna attempt to cut a better deal on the fish in the area , you know ... live and let live . Or is he froggy enough to think he's able to take him on alone ? I'll tell ya , I flat out wouldn't trust 'em . He's all crouched up so as not to appear intimidating but once he lashes out ( which will come as a surprise to you ) , yer gonna see his true nature and colors . He's a bird of prey .
