Be thankful in all things

Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ - Ephesians
5 : 20
...
We all have something to be thankful for - the fact that you're here and reading this is evidence enough. You must have shelter, electricity and a running computer.
Have you food to fill your belly, clean water to quench your thirst ? A warm fire to take the chill from your bones ? So many of our folk have no place to call home. No idea of where their next morsel will come. Do not take Gods blessings for granted.
....
Are you in fairly good health and enjoy the freedom to walk about at will ? Forget not your brethren who suffer under bonds of iron and concrete. I've talked to prisoners over the years who have longed once again to feel the rain upon their skin, to smell it in the air. Seemingly little matters to us but not to the deprived.
....
If ever we have cause to thank God for His mercies and blessings it is now. And as we approach the final collapse of this beast system of Babylonian rule ... there will be found safety nowhere else but with Him. If you understand these things, ever give Him praise and glory. If you have not yet submitted unto Christ, understand the blessing of mercy extended you with every breath you draw ... there yet remains time.
....
May God ever keep us close to Him, guide us thru these perilous days and continue to stir repentance amongst our kinfolk.
...
Psalms 79

The phrase - "what doesn't kill me makes me stronger" is certainly a Biblical concept. Like a brother said ... any day above ground is a good 'un.

Makes me think of Paul in 2 Corinthians 11 - yep, it could always be worse. We must strive to be positive and strengthen our faith.
