I've tried to do as much studying of late as I could cram in, not to learn from scratch but to reaffirm what I have long held to be my beliefs and to make sure they indeed were sound. My viewpoints have not changed.
---------
I've long wanted to speak out on several topics but in the interest of "keeping the peace" I've kept silent. This should not be the way things are done, for truth needs to come out regardless of how it is received or how folks might treat you.
-------
I've been rather surprised to find out just how opposite some of our conclusions have shown themselves to be. Not that I'm pointing any fingers at particular persons and questioning their genealogy at present, but I've been wondering that perhaps we may of underestimated our adversaries yet again. And we need not necessarily look to the jew to always find him ... but we do need to consider the fruits.
--------
It's been said by quite a few, that true Christianity is the only thing the jew fears. I agree. But we seem to always pinpoint them on the overt missions where they are easily recognized by their vile words and actions. Have we really considered how deeply the covert may go ? Those who would walk among us saying all the right things but changing, perhaps subtly, the content of the Word. Is it altogether unfathomable ? The answer should be obvious.
--------
I'll only bring up one issue on this post but more will follow. Remember, whether done in a vile underhanded manner or perhaps thru genuine error - the end result will be the same. Are any of us so proud and self assured that we will not consider scripture and use the reason and logic God gave us ? Yes, I threw out that label here of late and received much worse in return. Why ? For quoting scripture that was contrary to a popularly held belief. We cannot use scripture to annul scripture (as some do). There must be continuity.
-------
Never the less ... what sayeth the scripture ?

an old post touching upon this -

I plan on bringing back a couple preachers whom I had earlier removed based on others observations. NO ONE has all the answers (including myself) but these have enough that their promotion is warranted -

And being baptised to
"get folks off yer ass" can't hardly qualify as genuine, would you not agree ?
Since God knows the intents and thoughts of our hearts - why even bother ?
Brother Jeff.
I really don't have a problem with spreading the gospel. Some take a hard line approach others take a soft approach. Still others lead by example....
The way you and Sister Joy in my opinion have lead me by example and some things are coming to light.
The point is don't get discouraged if its not all grasped at once.
Peace to you
Brother
Cleveland
Thanks for your kind words and well wishes Cleveland. Yes, understanding only comes with time ... and commitment to learning. Even if it goes against what we have long held fast. I will consider all sides to get to the Truth.
I was speaking of those who are already pretty learned and still reject the plain teaching of scripture. The reasons why are becoming more apparent though.
Hang in there brother and keep at it.
