You're right about ammo. Have you tried to buy any lately? 7.62x39 is as rare as an american virgin, anymore. People are clearing the shelves.

Gun Broker has good deals sometimes but you're right, ammo is going sky high. Bidding on this stuff is not a deal, for sure. I'm glad I stocked up beforehand. I'm looking at buying this to conserve ammo.

Screw Ciener conversion kits, The company sucks, your gas tube gets clogged and accuracy suffers because of the twist. The one above is perfect.
Even reloaders are feeling the squeeze .
Component prices are way up or damn near unavailable ( check 308 brass ).

... and to add a few thoughts ..
We think this stuff is expensive or hard to get now ... what will a year down the road look like ? Will these present days be thought of with fonder memories ?
I can remember seeing 75 round AK drums going for $30. a piece and thinking - man , what a rip off . HA ! Look at 'em flying offline at $150. ( or more ) a pop now !
900 rds. cases of 308 for about the same price .
And all this talk about hoarding gold never impressed me . You can't eat it . You can't shoot any intruders with it .
