Rocky Mountain high

Having never traveled west of Texas , I can only imagine the awe inspiring grandness of the Rocky Mountains ( and surrounding areas ) . God willing we'll still get out there one day and do better than just pictures.

Nothing like a change of scenery and a full dose appreciation of Gods creation to liven one up and charge the batteries. I'm long overdue a road trip !

Not to detract from the beauty herein - but I run across a cool link . Perhaps you'd care to "keep an eye" on the mountain. Think I ran across it at "What Really Happened ".

( still wouldn't mind seeing yer pics Orion if ya can ever find 'em )

Trembling of the mountains - both literally and a national / governmental sense -

The west is so beautiful. I've crossed the country more times than I can remember but the Rockies were really nice. Try to take 80 through Wyoming, you won't regret it.

I must say I'm envious ! I love looking at maps and plotting courses.

Was quite usual for me at one time to spur of the moment take off for Florida but there is so much more of this land to see.

The traffic and alien infestation sure take alot of the joy out of it nowadays though.

So true, but 80 through the west is pretty white, Until you get to western Nevada. I will look for those pics and post them here real soon.
